Don’t act like you’ve never done it…

Another new tacticool widget comes on to the market and you HAVE to grab it up. Often this is done before any form of careful consideration has been made in to whether or not the product will actually do what you need it to do. Look… we aren’t trying to tell you how to spend your money. It is ‘Merica after all… we just want you to make informed decisions as to what you’re purchasing before you buy it.

This is because we have been there, done that, and have literally boxes full of gear that we don’t use because frankly… it sucked or didn’t fulfill our needs enough. That being said… I give you:

Our Top 5 Recommended Vendors List

All Things Rifle: Bravo Company Manufacturing

You Simply cannot go wrong with BCM for any rifle parts, accessories, optics, etc. et al. Their guns simply run and you will not be disappointed. Pricing is reasonable for what is offered and there is a ton of value in their gear. bcm logo

Armor Carriers: Shellback Tactical

We have tried a few plate carriers over the years and we have found one thing out… The more simple the more better. I personally run the Banshee shellback logocarrier for my training/active shooter kit with stand alone Level IV plates. Toss on a few HSGI TACO pouches and I’m good to go for any mission I might be on.

Pouches and Nylon Gear: High Speed Gear Inc.

Currently I’m running HSGI TACO’s and an HSGI Bleeder kit on my training belt. They retain the magazines whilst running and gunning and I have hsgi logoyet experience the on-range gear yard sale with the pouches. They hold stuff well. ‘Nuff said.

Battle Belts: Tyr Tactical

In four years of actively training folks I have purchased exactly four battle belts. This cycle was stopped once I picked up a Brokos Belt from Tyr tyr tactical logoTactical. Other belts that I have tried (Yeah I’m talking about you Condor and 5.11…) simply did not hold up under moderate use. The 5.11 belt especially as once I used it during a Carbine class that happened to have rather rainy conditions the belt lost any and all structure and my pouches started flopping over outboard.
