Our Training Philosophy
We believe many organizations overuse Powerpoint and Classroom Lectures. We use these training methods to an extent but understand that the majority of people are hands on learners. All training topics will focus on using a hands on learning method. This allows the students to practice what they have learned. We include simulated incidents in all training and run the students from beginning to end. The students will start with a scenario, react to the situations with the skills they have learned. Finally they will finish by effectively contacting and communicating with emergency services in a simulated training exercise.
Training Topics
Avoid | Deny | Defend
This is a proactive approach to the run, hide fight method. We recommend this training for all members of any religious organization. Topics include identifying suspicious behavior, access control, identifying egress points, barricading structures and fighting as a last resort. We develop a mindset and confidence in all students that YOU WILL SURVIVE.
Medical Training
Medical 1 (3-4 hours)
This class involves the training and certification of all students in CPR and AED. We also include basic first aid and other skills that apply in all aspects of life.
Medical 2 (3-4 hours)
This class will certify students in Stop The Bleed, however we go far beyond that program. We include training in tourniquets, wound packing, chest seals and many other life saving skills.
Advanced/ Customized Training
Enhanced Security (3-4 hours)
This training is designed for security teams and ushers. It takes into account armed and unarmed members of these teams. We go deeper into identifying suspicious activity, identifying armed individuals and how to most appropriately address these issues. We cover proper communication internally and externally with outside agencies. Armed members will learn various aspects of using the tools available to them in an active threat situation.
