Intro to Handgun – 6/21/25 12PM

Many new gun owners often find themselves completely overwhelmed when deciding what handgun they want to purchase when they are first starting out in the gun world. We designed Intro to Handguns to bridge the gap between your Basic Firearms Safety Course and confidently operating a handgun by giving hands-on experience with various firearms in a fun and stress free environment. We guarantee that you will gain the confidence you need to become a safe and informed firearms owner.

Our customers have been asking us for a class that allows them to try several handguns without the expense of the trial and error approach that many new gun owners are forced to deal with. We literally have a safe full of handguns for you to try to see what best fits your needs before you go out and buy your new gun.

Here’s what the course covers: 

• Review of Firearms Safety Rules and Best Practices
• Considerations when Choosing a Handgun
• Basic Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting

Once the classroom portion of the course is complete we will head to the range and you will get to shoot up to 10 different handguns of varying calibers and sizes.

It is highly recommended that you bring your own eye and ear protection but those items will be on hand if needed. NOTE: This class does not cover the requirements for a MA License to Carry.
