The VCAT program addresses a rising trend in officer-involved shootings, specifically vehicle-based engagements. VCAT L1 and L2 provide students with the information, tactics, and use of cover to address ambushes, and close-range engagements in and around vehicles.

The VCAT program pushes officers well outside their comfort zone and into practical training designed to enhance the officer’s knowledge, processing, and tactics in vehicle-based engagements.

VCAT L2 incorporates Rifle/Pistol employment on vehicles and includes an in-depth counter ambush scenario lab utilizing force on force. Contact Jon O’Brien at jon@tacdynamics.com for more information.
